Pinpoint

Pinpoint is a free daily map trivia game from Thinking Cap. You get five trivia questions, and every answer is a place: where a famous event happened, where a landmark stands, where a food was invented or a star was born. Instead of typing an answer, you drop a pin on the world map. The closer you land, the more points you score, up to 1,000 per question and 5,000 per day.

How to play

• Read the question, then zoom in on the map and drop your pin where you think the answer is.
• On a phone, pinch to zoom and tap to place your pin. On a computer, scroll to zoom, drag to move around, and click to place your pin.
• Lock in your pin to see the right answer and how many miles off you were.

When is the new puzzle?

A new Pinpoint is released every day at midnight in your time zone. Everyone gets the same five questions, so you can compare scores with friends. Also try Then & Now, the daily timeline game.
